My Top 4 Browser Recommendations
My Top 4 Browser Recommendations
"Man is a tool-using animal. Without tools he is nothing, with tools he is all." ~ Thomas Carlyle
We live in an age where the internet is all powerful. The amount of information, entertainment, and services on the web is unmatched. However, browsing the web effectively takes a good web browser, much like how a good tool makes a complicated job much easier. Although this top 5 browser list may confuse some, It is my own personal opinion and it is fine to disagree. Without further hesitation lets dive into my top 4 web browsers.
Number 4. Google Chrome
Google Chrome is very much a simple but robust browser. You basically trade privacy, and security for the most reliable, and simplest browser to operate. After all there is a reason Google is now such a big and powerful company and it all started with their search engine. However, personally I find Chrome as a bit lacking in feel and features. For example Chrome doesn't come packed with a good ad blocker, nor does it have much customization. Although Chrome is … fine, I think they fall very short even compared to numbers 3 and 2 on this list.
Number 3. Workona
If you didn't know about this browser before I wouldn't blame you, however Workona is a browser focused on productivity and organization over privacy and customization. Workona's star feature is a system called "Workspaces", this allows you to organize the windows of your browser toward different tasks, for example you could dedicate a Workspace toward shopping for cars you like made by Honda, and dedicate another Workspace toward cars made by Ford. Basically it is a better version of the window system used by all other browsers. This feature will help you browser, faster and more effectively. That being said, I doubt this browser has much customization or built in ad block. Also there will be a learning curve toward learning the UI as it is very different from Chromium based browsers, overall I'd say a niche but solid choice.
Number 2. Mozilla Firefox
Unlike every other browser on this list, Firefox is built from scratch without chromium software. This means it lacks certain features but also is considered more private and secure. The public tend to appreciate this browser as is easy to understand and is way more private than google. It is unclear if this browser comes with built in ad block but I think the simplicity and private experience make this a really good choice. Overall no real con to this browser it just works.
Number 1. Brave
"What's the deal with this silly looking lion app", that reader, is the single best browser that I cant recommend enough. I hold back no biases when it comes to Brave, I've been using Brave for over 2 years and it is amazing. Brave brings everything to the table I could possibly want, its chromium based so moving over data such as bookmarks is easy, and it shares similar UI to google chrome. Brave is arguably the most private, meaning your search history is harder to access and manipulate. AND ads on Brave never happen, I'm not joking I cant remember the last time I had a massive ad block me while reading as this browser just blocks them all with its advanced ad blocker. It also has a paid version which allows you to torrent safely. Lastly I find it simple to use yet upon years of use it never fails to surprise me with new features such as a memory saver, a force dark mood option and more. This browser is supposed to be meant for Crypto geeks, but as your average Joe I find it amazing in every way. My favorite part, it shows how much time you've saved by not being overwhelmed by ads, and boy it can add up, I even included a snippet of my stats as well.
I used this website, and also my own personal experiences for this post.
